Founded in 2005 by Todd Whitley and Gordon Carlisle, BrightWire Networks provides technology related support services to small and mid-size business clients in the South Puget Sound Region of Washington State. BrightWire helps organizations be more productive with technology through professionally managed, affordable IT services, which include live help desk support and automated systems management as well as technology planning and project management services.

A typical BrightWire client is large enough to need IT support, but is not able to justify the expense of hiring a full-time IT professional. Beyond day-to-day IT support needs, BrightWire works with each client's senior management team to effectively plan and develop their business from a technology perspective.

In a similar way, the decision to move banking services to Thurston First Bank was driven by the same desire to improve and automate processes.
